Bulletin of Applied Sciences (Bull Appl Sci.) is pleased to consider submissions from author worldwide, publishing academic articles research articles and reviewed articles that focus on sciences and technologies particularly in the area of chemistry, physics, biotechnology, food science and food technology, material science, metrology, engineering and applied science
Manuscript assessment processes
- The submitted manuscript must be original, non-redundant. The significant amounts of material must never been published elsewhere or is under consideration by another journal. The work should make a contribution within the scope of the journal.
- The submitted manuscript will be sent to at least three experts in the field (referee) to evaluate the manuscript by double-blind (double-blind peer review).
Types of an article published in Bulletin of Applied Sciences
- Research article is a scholarly work that has been study under the research methodology in the field or a well-established novel scientific knowledge.
- Academic article provides deepen understanding of an interesting topic or issue, or produces new knowledge. Most articles begin with a general statement of the problem, the purpose for the study, a chosen strategy for reaching solution/s of the problem. By using scholarly sources such as book, journal, and online database for analyzing/discussing the solution. Types of academic article are following:
- Literature review or review article is a survey of previously published research on a topic. It should give an overview of current thinking on the topic. And, it will not present new experimental results.
- Technical paper is a document that describes the process, progress, or results of technical or scientific research including novel analytical technique.
Article structure
Research article should include:
- Title and content in English languages
- Author’s full name (first name and family name), affiliation, and email address
- Abstract in English (200–250 words), including introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Keywords (3–5 words)
- Content contains:
- Introduction: states the objectives of the work, research problem, hypothesis, and provide an adequate background with some literature reviews.
- Materials and methods: states data collection approach, study duration, and research methodology.
- Results and discussion: state the findings and discussions/ arguments
- Conclusions: should contain the most important message of the study and author perspective/suggestion.
- Acknowledgements: should contain financial support and other research contributions.
- References: Bulletin of Applied Sciences uses the Vancouver referencing style.
