This research is a study of the failure of Bang Phra Reservoir, using the HEC-RAS model to analyze water surges and flooding in downstream areas. It considers only two failure scenarios: overtopping and internal erosion (piping). The simulation results are presented as flood maps and flood graphs in three key areas: the Talat Lang Bang Phra Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Bang Phra Subdistrict, Si Racha District; Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-Ok, Bang Phra area, located in Bang Phra Subdistrict, Si Racha District; and Burapha University, Saen Suk Subdistrict, Mueang Chonburi District. The study found that the lower areas near Bang Phra Reservoir are at high risk of flooding, with water depths exceeding 4–5 meters, while the middle areas have moderate risk, and the upper areas, including regions near the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, have lower risk.
