Development of an Electronic Document Management System for the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science, Sisaket Rajabhat University

Abstract

Currently, document management in many organizations predominantly relies on paper-based systems, leading to issues such as document loss and delays in information retrieval. These problems are particularly evident in the clerical systems that require coordination, storage, and retrieval of documents. To enhance convenience and efficiency in document management, this study aims to develop an electronic document management system for the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science at Sisaket Rajabhat University. The study involves analyzing the existing systems to gather relevant data and developing the system to meet user requirements. The findings indicate that the developed electronic document management system is highly efficient and well-suited to the needs of the staff at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science, Sisaket Rajabhat University. Expert evaluations show that the system's performance is rated good ( = 4.35, S.D. = 0.56), and overall user satisfaction with the system is also rated good ( = 4.40, S.D. = 0.52).
