Abstract

Design and development of products for Persian cats, Purpose for 1) The design and develop products for Persian cat breeds, focusing on a case study of cat owners in Phayao province. 2) To evaluate the level of satisfaction among Persian cat breed users, By principles of furniture design and development as the conceptual framework for the research. The sample group for the research consists of members from the "Cat Lovers Group, MU Phayao V.2" on Facebook, comprising 60 Persian cat owners within a one-month period. The data analysis involves both qualitative and quantitative approaches to calculate percentages, averages, and standard deviations. The random sampling method was used to select participants for the study. The results of the analysis from the survey of user preferences revealed, These include condominiums, hidden nail scratchers, cat villas, feeding stations, and litter box enclosures. The research is divided into two parts: 1) In designing cat condos, it was found that concept 3 is the most feasible for production and aligns better with the practical application guidelines compared to other designs. 2) The results of the consumer satisfaction level study showed that a majority of the respondents were male, outnumbering females. Furthermore, the majority of participants were in the age range between 26-35 The attribute was most preferred by students and The attribute of usage durability was the most preferred. ( = 4.05, S.D. = 0.92) The next highest-rated attribute was material suitability ( = 3.98, S.D. = 0.94) The attribute with the lowest rating was safety during usage              ( = 3.83, S.D. = 0.88).
