Development of Application for Tourism Media on Android

Abstract
Overview and deep information are important part to support tourism market. The Obstacle to access the information directly affects the decision of the tourists. Objective of this study is to develop application media to promote, present and guide the culture tourism of Phra That 9 Chom, Chiangrai Province. Data and problem statement were gathered. User requirements were analyzed. The application for tourism media was designed and developed by operating as mobile application using on smart phone. In this research, the use of developed application was tested with 70 people including Thai and foreign tourists. The users’ satisfaction was evaluated by using questionnaires. It was found that the highest users’ satisfaction is in the aspect of the convenience for using the application and the method to present information following by the satisfaction in the aspect of processing of applicationand the satisfaction of overall using that is in very good level. The mobile application can be used as a choice to support activities of local tourism and can be guidelines to the development media of other tourisms.
