The Situational Leadership of Government Sector and Private Sector Affecting on Organization Management

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the situational leadership for government section and private section affecting on the organization management. The samples are the 740 of leaders, who have more than one subordinate, for both of the government sector and private sector. The questionnaire is used as the tool for collecting data. The calculations of statistics include percentage and Chi-square using for the relation test of column and row variables. The results showed that the leaders of government sector have the role in the topic of ?I use the most experienced way with my personnel? more than that of private sector that the average scores for government sector and private sector were 3.05 and 2.93, respectively. In the topic of ?I support the personnel to improve their job creation,? the average score of 3.09 for government sector was more than that of 2.91 for private sector. In the topic of ?I consider the personal characteristics for choosing the suitable team work,? the 3.18 of average score for government sector was more than 3.03 for private sector. It can be concluded that although the leaders of the government sector work under many specified rule and law, their leaderships appear the higher score more than the leaderships of the private sector for working pattern. The leaders of the government sector consider the subordinate?s ability to assign the appropriate task and also support the subordinate?s creative thinking. The leaders make a decision to choose the suitable method as the individual subordinate?s character for achieving the teamwork.
