ผลเฉียบพลันของการออกกำลังกายที่ระดับความหนักสูงก่อนการเข้านอน ที่ส่งผลต่อคุณภาพการนอนหลับและความสามารถทางสมอง

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบผลเฉียบพลันของการออกกำลังกายที่ระดับความหนักสูงก่อนการเข้านอน ที่ส่งผลต่อคุณภาพการนอนหลับและความสามารถทางสมอง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนิสิตเพศชาย คณะวิทยาศาสตร์การกีฬาและสุขภาพ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ วิทยาเขตกำแพงแสน อายุ 20-27 ปี จำนวน 11 คน การวิจัยครั้งนี้ทดลองรูปแบบไขว้ แบ่งออกเป็น 4 รูปแบบการทดลอง คือ (1) ไม่มีการออกกำลังกายและกลุ่มตัวอย่างเข้านอนตามเวลาที่กำหนด (00.00 – 08.00 น.) (2) ออกกำลังกายเสร็จสิ้นก่อนเข้านอน 4 ชม. (3) ออกกำลังกายเสร็จสิ้นก่อนเข้านอน 3 ชม. (4) ออกกำลังกายเสร็จสิ้นก่อนเข้านอน 2 ชม. กำหนดให้ออกกำลังกายโดยการวิ่งบนลู่วิ่งต่อเนื่อง 30 นาที ที่ร้อยละ 80 - 85 ของอัตราการเต้นหัวใจสำรอง วัดค่าตัวแปรทางสรีรวิทยา ตัวแปรคุณภาพการนอนหลับ และทดสอบความสามารถทางสมอง นำผลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์ทางสถิติ โดยใช้สถิติ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบวัดซ้ำมิติเดียว กำหนดความมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ผลการวิจัยแสดงให้เห็นว่าการออกกำลังกายเสร็จสิ้นก่อนเข้านอน 2 ชม. ส่งผลให้มีคุณภาพการนอนหลับลดลง โดยส่งผลให้ค่าเฉลี่ยอัตราการเต้นหัวใจขณะนอนหลับสูงขึ้น อุณหภูมิร่างกายก่อนการนอนหลับสูงขึ้น ประสิทธิภาพการนอนหลับลดลง และมีระยะเวลาตั้งแต่เข้านอนจนกระทั่งหลับนานกว่ารูปแบบอื่น แต่ไม่มีผลต่อความสามารถทางสมอง ทั้งนี้เพราะร่างกายยังมีการกระตุ้นจากกระบวนการทางสรีรวิทยาและการทำงานของระบบประสาทที่เกิดขึ้นระหว่างออกกำลังกาย จากผลการวิจัยสามารถสรุปได้ว่าควรหลีกเลี่ยงการออกกำลังกายระดับความหนักสูงที่เสร็จสิ้นก่อนเข้านอน 2 ชม. เพื่อป้องกันผลเสียที่เกิดขึ้นกับคุณภาพการนอนหลับ
