ความชุกของการติดเชื้อพยาธิเม็ดเลือดของสุนัขและแมวในจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ และจังหวัดใกล้เคียง ระหว่างเดือนมกราคม–มีนาคม 2567

บทคัดย่อ
การติดเชื้อพยาธิเม็ดเลือดในสุนัขและแมวเป็นปัญหาสำคัญทางสัตวแพทย์ในประเทศไทย ซึ่งมักก่อให้เกิดอาการทางคลินิกที่รุนแรงและจำเป็นต้องได้รับการรักษาเฉพาะ โดยเฉพาะในกรณีที่พบการติดเชื้อร่วมกัน การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจความชุกของการติดเชื้อพยาธิเม็ดเลือดในสุนัขและแมวที่ส่งตรวจ ณ บริษัทดิยูนิค แลปโบราทอรี่จำกัด จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ระหว่างเดือนมกราคมถึงมีนาคม 2567 โดยใช้วิธีการย้อมฟิลม์เลือดบาง ผลการศึกษาพบว่าสุนัขมีความชุกของการติดเชื้อร้อยละ 29.42 ของสุนัขทั้งหมด เชื้อที่ตรวจพบได้แก่ E. canis, A. platys, Babesia spp., H. canis และ Trypanosoma spp. ร้อยละ 25.00, 1.33, 0.44, 0.22 และ 0.22 ของสุนัขที่ติดเชื้อ ตามลำดับ และพบการติดเชื้อร่วมของ E. canis และ A. platys ร้อยละ 2.21 ของสุนัขที่ติดเชื้อทั้งหมด สำหรับแมวพบการติดเชื้อ Mycoplasma spp. ร้อยละ 3.45 ของแมวทั้งหมดการศึกษานี้จึงเป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานที่มีความสำคัญต่อการวินิจฉัย ควบคุม และรักษาการติดเชื้อพยาธิเม็ดเลือดในสุนัขและแมวในจังหวัดสมุทรปราการและพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง
