The Study of The Heat Resistance Coefficient of Material Wall with Nam-Phi Iron Ore Smelting Furnace
Abstract
The coefficient of heat resistance of material wall used in the traditional Nam-Phi Iron ore smelting furnace is studied. Three materials, namely anthill soil, sawdust mixed with anthill soil, and standardrefractory concrete are compared in this experiment. Three types of samples have been formed using eachmaterial of 10 × 10 cm2in area size and 1 cm, 2 cm and 3 cm in thickness. By supplying heat by the LPGsource, the thermal conductivity and average heat resistance coefficient for each sample are determined. The refractory concrete exhibits the highest heat resistance coefficient that , followed by the anthill soil, and sawdust mixed with anthill soil, , respectively.
