Health Risk Assessment from Using Benzene and Diesel among Employees at a Gas Station of Petroleum Limited Partnership
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to evaluate health risk on chemical usage among employees. The case study was the gas service station of Preeda Petroleum Limited Partnership. The research process was as following; analyzing data to evaluate health risk on chemical usage, Hazard Identification, risk assessment, and risk management. The result of risk assessment was found that, the degree of unacceptable risk needed elimination or immediate resolve. There were 2 items that required the procedure of control plan and were risk tolerance. There were 8 items to be eliminated or fixed, using risk management measures and risk control measures, to minimize the defect or for it to reach the acceptable risk. Moreover, the risk management plan had been evaluated by 5 plan making-related people, and it was found that every risk management plan was in highest suitability level.
