งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาการทำให้เป็นเชิงเส้นของสมการเชิงอนุพันธ์สามัญอันดับสองที่ไม่เชิงเส้น โดยใช้การแปลงเชิงเส้นทั่วไปเพื่อลดรูปให้อยู่ในรูปเชิงเส้น พร้อมกำหนดเงื่อนไขที่จำเป็นและเงื่อนไขที่เพียงพอสำหรับการแปลงดังกล่าว รวมถึงนำเสนอขั้นตอนการหาฟังก์ชันการแปลงและสัมประสิทธิ์ของสมการเชิงเส้น ตลอดจนยกตัวอย่างการหาผลเฉลยเพื่อประกอบแนวคิดที่เสนอ
