
Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submitted manuscript has been prepared according to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines and thoroughly checked for inconsistencies and typographical errors.
- On submission of the manuscript, the authors agree not to withdraw the manuscript at any stage prior to publication without formal approval from the Editorial Board.
- The authors must provide the names, affiliations, and institutional email addresses of 5 suggested referees whom the JNAO Editorial Team may consult for the evaluation of the manuscript.
- The suggested peer reviewers must not have co-authored any publications with any of the submitting authors within the past five years and must not be affiliated with the same research institution.
