Abstract

The Green Lucky activity held at the Khuang Muang Nan activity is to add value to environmentally friendly packaging and behavior to reduce the use of single-use plastic packaging through a lucky draw game. The Green Lucky activity can help reduce the amount of waste to landfills by 6% compared to before the activity, which is data collection after the activity for 1 month. The reduction of waste to landfills is due to shops switching to environmentally friendly packaging (biodegradable and resaleable plastic) or having measures to stop separating plastic bags, straws, and forks and spoons if customers do not request them, in order to be able to join the Green Lucky project. The benefits are Green Lucky lottery tickets for customers to come and draw lots to receive discounts and upcycled products from community enterprises. After the activity, even though the cost of doing the Green Lucky activity is higher than the cost of environmentally friendly packaging, if the proportion of discount cards and prizes is adjusted, it is possible to reduce such costs to be lower than the cost of environmentally friendly packaging.
