Journal History

Asian Health, Science and Technology Reports (AHSTR) traces back to 1992 as the Naresuan University Journal (NUJ), the journal originally served as a Thai-language platform for a broad range of research, including Health Sciences, Science and Technology, and the Humanities. It rebranded in 2014 as the Naresuan University Journal: Science and Technology (NUJST) to focus exclusively on Health, Science, and Technology. By 2018, the journal transitioned to an English-only publication format, allowing its research to connect with a global audience of scholars and practitioners.
In 2024, marking over thirty years of academic service, the journal underwent its most significant transformation by rebranding as Asian Health, Science and Technology Reports (AHSTR). This change, beginning with Volume 32, Issue 1, was designed to better reflect the journal's modern, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary scope across the fields of Health, Science, and Technology with a new online ISSN: 3027-7167.
While our name has changed, our dedication to publishing high-quality, impactful research in Health, Science and Technology remains stronger than ever.
