The objectives were to assess the environment, dirtiness, overall and individual damage to the panels, and deterioration of the solar modules inside the panels, which were caused by the installation and use throughout the 5 - year period of the project. The survey flights could classify the damage to the solar panels in the project, such as cracks in the solar panel windshield, environment dirtiness from the solar panel, shading from weeds on the solar panels, internal corrosion (rusting) and peeling, and the occurrence of hot spots inside the solar panels, etc. The use of UAV could help save time and costs in surveying and inspection operations in the case of large-scale projects. In addition, the results of the survey could be used to plan preventive maintenance correctly and appropriately in the future.
Palakorn Prommet Copyright (c) 2023 Graduate School Thaksin University https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://ph03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JGRDI/article/view/2206 Thu, 13 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Motion Graphics Multimedia about How to Use Fire Extinguishing Equipment Inside Buildings https://ph03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JGRDI/article/view/1097
Fire disasters have been a longstanding issue in Thailand, resulting from both natural disasters and human-made incidents within large cities. Factors such as negligence and lack of vigilance lead to significant damage in various aspects, including buildings and properties. Arson, sabotage, and accidents caused by carelessness contribute to the occurrence of fires. In the event of a fire, people often panic, attempting to escape without addressing the root causes or problems, allowing the fire to spread rapidly. Moreover, many of them lack sufficient knowledge on how to use fire extinguishing equipment effectively. This research aims to develop multimedia content using motion graphics multimedia to educate people on proper fire extinguishing equipment usage inside buildings. The study also seeks to assess the satisfaction of viewers.
Areerat Kaewpradid, Pakorn Jumpathes Copyright (c) 2023 Graduate School Thaksin University https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://ph03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JGRDI/article/view/1097 Thu, 28 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 Participatory Model of Community Network Partners in Driving Road Safety Policy at Nuea Khlong Sub - district, Nuea Khlong District, Krabi Province https://ph03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JGRDI/article/view/1140
This is participatory action research aiming to investigate the participatory model of community network partners to drive road safety policy in Nuea Khlong sub -district, Nuea Khlong district, Krabi province. The study was conducted through participatory practices with the community network leaders using the PAOR cycle. There are five instruments used for driving the mechanism of the Road Safety Administration Center and collecting data: participatory learning process result record form, formal and informal in-depth interview, participatory observation form, field work recording form and secondary data of the communities during July 2019–April 2020. The data were analyzed by categorizing and summarizing sub-issues from the results of each learning process and technique based on the conceptual framework and descriptively compiled. The study found that the main cause of accidents in Nuea Khlong sub-district are drivers not respecting traffic rules, do not reduce speed in community areas, overtaking on a curve, the driver was drinking alcohol and young teenagers driving fast. Motorcycles are the type of vehicle that causes the most accidents and if every driver on the road follows traffic rules, the accident rate can be greatly reduced. As for accident prevention in the community, it must be improved: 1) People must have knowledge of traffic rules and respect social rules in using vehicles on the road. Every driver must have awareness and the potential of the body to be ready at all times. 2) The road environment is not damaged, there is adequate lighting, there are road signs and signs warning of risky spots, and 3) The relevant systems are complete and ready to use such as laws and traffic regulations and using orders from the Road Safety Administration Center to drive road safety. The results provide an integrated approach to link operations with network partners in the community. A working group has been appointed to drive safe roads in the sub-district. There is a joint analysis of situations and problems, jointly solving problems at risk points, dangerous points, controlling risky behavior (drunk driving, speeding, and driving without wearing a helmet). There is a public relations organization section that creates a safe educational institution and a safe community and use the obtained situation to monitor and evaluate in order to discuss and improve work even further. The suggestions in this study suggest that there should be an investigation of factors influencing successful operation and obstacles to road safety management.
Sakonwat Nanuan Copyright (c) 2023 Graduate School Thaksin University https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://ph03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JGRDI/article/view/1140 Tue, 05 Mar 2024 00:00:00 +0700
